1. Falafel Wrap

Soak chickpeas overnight and blend them with ginger, garlic, coriander, green chilli and salt, and make patties out of it and you can air fry them or shallow fry them on a pan. Take a tortilla and spread a homemade mint chutney then place two patties in a tortilla along with ice berg lettuce, sliced bell pepper, onion, and tomato. And enjoy protein-rich wrap.

Chickpeas are good source of protein for vegans. Chickpeas have good amount of dietary fibre and other nutrients and minerals.

2. Chana Salad

Take boiled potatoes along with the overnight soaked chana and moong and mix them with the onion, tomato, and cucumber. For the dressing, take lemon juice in a small bowl along with chaat masala, and black salt and mix with the veggies.

Black peas are rich in fiber , they are good for digestive problem. Black chana and moong have hight content of protein.

3. Veggie Macroni

Boil the macaroni or any other pasta. I usually prefer whole wheat pasta. Then sauté garlic and green chilli in a pan until the garlic turns golden then add thinly chopped capsicum, onion, or veggies of your choice and let it cook for a minute then add tomato puree, and homemade chilli sauce along with the chilli flakes, oregano, salt, black pepper powder, and a pinch of garam masala to it & let it cook for a few minutes and then add the boiled pasta.  Desi style macaroni is ready.

4. Mushroom Toast

Sauté sliced mushroom and sliced onions in a pan with garlic, and salt. Then add homemade chilli sauce over bread, add roasted mushrooms over it then add a slice of cheese and top it up with oregano and chilli flakes and enjoy.

As mushroom are low in calorie, they are good for weight loss recipes. Mushroom are good for the immunity system.

5. Veggie Delight Sandwich

Cut onion, bell pepper, and fresh paneer into small cubes, then add homemade creamy spread to it and mix it. Take 2 slice of whole wheat bread and spread it over it , topping it up with cheese slices and oregano, chilli flakes, black pepper powder, and a pinch of salt. Grill and enjoy.

Bell peppers are rich in anti-oxidants and paneer is good source of protein.
